Go4it2day Web Services - Web Server Upgrade

The Linux OS on the Go4it2day Web Services hosting servers was upgraded today:

  • from: Slackware 11.0 -> to: Slackware 12.0

The immediate benefit is that the following major web server programs were also upgraded:

  • from: Apache 1.3.37 -> to: Apache 2.2.4
  • from: PHP 4.4.7 -> to: PHP 5.2.5
  • from: MySQL 5.0.24 -> to: 5.0.37
